The Sri Sai Baba Temple near Hirisave is a peaceful place to visit. It’s conveniently located on the main Bengaluru-Mangaluru Highway (NH-75). Although I had passed by this temple many times, I never had the chance to stop and visit it until recently.
This time, we were fortunate to stop and visit this beautiful temple. Dedicated to the revered saint Sri Sai Baba, the temple offers a serene retreat for both devotees and travelers.
The temple is open to visitors from 7:00 AM to 7:45 PM.
Hirisave is about 150 kilometers from Bangalore and 60 kilometers from Hassan, making it approximately a 3-hour drive from Bangalore. The area is also well-connected by public transport.
In addition to the main shrine of Sai Baba, the temple also features an idol of Udbhava Anjaneya (Hanuman).
If you’re traveling on NH-75, be sure to stop and experience the peace and beauty of this temple.
