Chapora Fort is one of the most popular sunset spots in North Goa. Located on a hill overlooking Vagator Beach and the Arabian Sea, the fort offers breathtaking coastal views. Built by the Portuguese in 1717, it was once an important military defence structure. Today, its historic ruins and scenic surroundings make it a favourite destination for travellers and photography lovers.
🏰 An Evening at Chapora Fort
After spending a relaxed morning at Vagator Beach, we decided to head back to Chapora Fort in the evening to witness the sunset.
The climb to the fort was quite easy and didn’t take much effort. Once we reached the top, we were welcomed by beautiful views of the Arabian Sea, rocky cliffs, and the surrounding coastline.
Chapora Fort is a perfect place to sit back, relax, and enjoy nature. We spent some time exploring the ruins, clicking pictures, and watching the sun slowly disappear into the sea.

The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful sunset made the visit even more special. 🌅
🍽️ Good Food & Evening Walk
After enjoying the sunset, we headed towards one of our favourite spots in Goa – Mango Tree.

We spent some quality time there, enjoying our favourite food and refreshing beverages while catching up and sharing a few laughs.
Later, we went for another relaxed walk along the beach before calling it a day.
Another beautiful evening in Goa, filled with good food, great company, and lovely memories! ❤️
