π The Ride Through the Forest
After reaching Sangama and parking our bikes, the first thing we did was board the bus to Mekedatu.
Private vehicles are not allowed beyond this point as the area falls within a protected forest zone. The bus ride costs βΉ100 per person and includes both onward and return journeys.
The ride itself is an experience! πβ¨
For about 15β20 minutes, the bus travels through a scenic route alongside the river. The off-road stretch, green surroundings, and fresh monsoon breeze made the journey enjoyable.
